Matthew has nearly 13 years of experience working and growing within the geospatial realm. As a co-founder of EMgis Partners, Matthew brings his passion for service to the public sector. With over 10 years of experience in local government, specifically in public safety and emergency management, Matthew is focused on offering GIS solutions to entities that may not have the internal GIS resources to cover a government’s most pressing mapping needs.
Matthew has been a GISP (Geographic Information System Professional) since 2009. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Rutgers University and is currently working on his Masters in Public Administration from Arkansas State University. He has been a past three-time President of the Nevada Geographic Information Society and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Nevada Geographic Information Society. A 501c3 organization dedicated to growing spatial education and awareness throughout the state of Nevada.
Matthew is a capable geospatial professional with strong analytical and cartographic skills. As well, he has system administration skills across the entire suite of ESRI products including ArcGIS Online, Arc Server and Arc SDE. More importantly, he has used these skills directly with public safety and emergency management solutions and is eager to show you how your public safety departments can already leverage your existing GIS investment or get started with less investment that you may have otherwise thought.
